System requirements
What you need to run Ishmael.
Ishmael is a native macOS application. Ishmael asks for very little of your machine, and leaves the rest of it to you and your manuscript.
Minimum
- An Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer)
- macOS 11 Big Sur or later
- Around 100 MB of free disk space for the app
- A few megabytes per manuscript—a novel is, after all, only text
